Dana Air supports Abuja Motor Show 2009

Guests and participants at the 2009 Abuja Motor Show holding at the Eagle Square, Abuja from May 13 to 21, 2009 will enjoy rebates on air tickets courtesy of Dana Airlines Limited. The airline was recently named official airline partner for this year’s auto fair by the event organisers, BKG Exhibitions.

 

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Jacky Hathiramani, Chief Executive Officer of Dana Air said, “The Abuja Motor Show is one of the biggest auto fairs in Africa and we are pleased to partner with the organisers to convey participants to and from this year’s event. At Dana Air, we consider our customers as guests and we are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that they have a pleasurable flying experience with us.”

 

On his part, Mr. Ifeanyi Agwu, Managing Director of BKG Exhibitions thanked the management of Dana Air for supporting this year’s event. According to him, “This is the first time we will be having an official carrier for any of our motor shows and it represents progress for us. The partnership with Dana Air will surely make it easier for our exhibitors and guests to participate in this year’s fair.”         

 

Mr. Agwu also said that BKG Exhibition has entered into a number of strategic partnerships to ensure that the 2009 Abuja Motor Show is a success. “Apart from the major auto distributors and dealers, some of Nigeria’s leading banks have signed on to this year’s event and will be showcasing different financial products that will benefit participants.”    

 

The Abuja International Auto Fair is an annual event which brings together local and international vehicle manufacturers and distributors. This year’s fair tagged ‘Driving Technology’ is expected to draw more than 500,000 visitors, 500 local and international journalists, and attract over 300 auto brands throughout the industry.
