DANA AIR BEGINS FLIGHTS TO ENUGU; EXPANDS FLEET SIZE

Business and Leisure travelers to the coal city of Enugu now have the choice of flying smart with Dana Air as the airline
commences operations on the Lagos–Enugu route next week. The airline also recently took delivery of another Boeing
MD83 aircraft increasing its fleet size from two to three, with a fourth expected within this quarter.
Mr. Jacky Hathiramani, Chief Executive Officer of the airline, who made the announcement, said that Dana Air wascommitted to turning the flying aspirations of Nigerians into reality with a service offering comparable only to the best
airlines in the world.
According to Mr. Hathiramani, “From the week beginning Monday, March 9, 2009, passengers flying to Enugu for businessor pleasure will be able to enjoy our world-class in-flight service and experience greater convenience through our online
booking and payment system.”
Commenting further, Mr. Hathiramani said, “We have put all necessary infrastructure in place and have concluded recruitmentand training of our Enugu staff. We are now ready to deliver to our Enugu-bound passengers the same high quality air transport
service that has become synonymous with Dana Air.”
At present, Dana Air operates eight flights daily on the Lagos–Abuja–Lagos route. Apart from Enugu, the airline also intends toextend its operations to the cities of Kano and Port-Harcourt in the next couple of months.
